Susan Simonson
Spreading Music Around

Susan Simonson is a songwriter who specializes in writing a song that perfectly captures an artist’s individuality and vibe. As a multi-genre lyricist and composer, Susan has written hip-hop, pop, indie pop, indie rock, and country.

Susan has multiple cuts and singles, and writes for many indie artists. With numerous sync placements in advertising, television and film, her work has appeared in MTV’s hit show, "Cribs", the CW Network’s sports drama, "All American", and countless holiday programs for the Great American Family.

Her credits include: “Glamorous” with Duck the Bass and Queen Chameleon, “Ready for It” with Franky C, and “There’s No Christmas Like Snow Christmas” with Kayliann. Her music has been featured in charity campaigns, such as Hear the Hope, which supports Nashville's Children's Hospital, and has been played on Bree Noble's podcast, "Women of Substance”.

Susan is known for being fun, super easy to work with, and great at bringing together the right blend of artist/writer/producer. She is always ready to write to briefs with quick turn arounds.

When she is not writing, Susan is either working on her small horse farm in upstate NY, riding, reading, or spending time with her husband and her 94 year old mother.
